TRAMPOLINE RECORDS
CELEBRATES DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE AT HOUSE OF BLUES
WITH A DOWN HOME GATHERING OF TRAMPOLINE ARTISTS
Performers include Pete Yorn, Peter Himmelman,
Mavis, Gary Jules, Jukebox Junkies, Minibar and many others
Los Angeles, CA -- October 10, 2002 -- The House of Blues on West Hollywood's Sunset Strip will be jumping on October 29, 2002 when the newly created label, Trampoline Records, showcases a backyard hootenanny of sorts, featuring a virtual who's who of local musicians and skilled singer/songwriters celebrating the debut release of "Trampoline Records Greatest Hits Vol. 1".
Many of the artists will be performing with other artists that night, highlighting the "communal vibe" that Trampoline Records is based upon. Set to perform are: Pete Yorn, Peter Himmelman, Mavis, Gary Jules, Phil Cody, Jukebox Junkies, Minibar, Evan Frankfort, Gingersol, Jeff Trott, Ethan Johns, Rusty Truck, The Hangups, Happily Ever After, various members of the Wallflowers, and other special guests.
With a need to expose the world to relevant singer/songwriters, Pete Yorn, Rami Jaffee (The Wallflowers) and Marc Dauer (Jukebox Junkies) founded Trampoline Records in Los Angeles.
The inaugural compilation from the label, "Trampoline Records Greatest Hits, Vol. 1", features 18 tracks from acclaimed artists and newcomers alike, all handpicked by Yorn, Jaffee and Dauer. The result is a perfect collection of, simply put, good music. The CD is now available exclusively at Barnes & Noble music locations.
Already garnering cult-like attention amongst fans of Pete Yorn and the Wallflowers, Trampoline Records is poised to become a viable outlet for those hungry for quality new music by their favorite singer/songwriters, and new talents on the horizon.
The October 29 show at House of Blues is open to all ages. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets, $17.50, are available through House of Blues Box Office and Ticketmaster. For more information, call (323) 848-5100.
